Reviews for Brewer Sakonnet Marina
6-25-2014 well protected but not near any stores or services, 2014-06-28
Captain: , Falmouth Maine (80)

Friendly helpful staff, well protected, solid floating conrete docks, new very nice bath and showers. However the slips are very close together and it gives a bit of the appearance of a KOA Campground. There are no restraunts or shopping of any kind within walking distance. Gas and Diesel available seemed expensive.. Despite what shows on some guide books this is way up the river and a long distance from Long Island Sound

2 day Transient Visit, 2013-10-07
Captain: , Westbrook, CT (80)

Very friendly and helpful staff! Ask for their info sheet of restaurants, cab companies, etc. Nice floating composite docks with a good amount of room between them. The heads here are old and tired, and the showers and laundry are in their south yard, which is a quarter mile walk. A new building is under construction that will solve those issues and is expected to be opened in February 2014.

Very good yard, 2012-06-06
Captain: , Newport (404)

Dave and staff are all quite competent and welcoming. We have stored boats here and have had large project work done. All went well.

North yard has no pumpout, or showers, but is otherwise well done. South yard has laundry, showers and pumpout.

Protection is very good.

Fuel is very expensive.

Great place for a haulout., 2011-01-26
Captain: , Barrington RI (475)

THey have a knowledgable service staff and are capable of major repairs and refits. I know that they are capable of dropping and resetting a keel.

This is a quiet marina, and inconvenient for shopping.

Very nice marina, but not near anything, 2009-08-05
Captain: , Newport, RI (10275)

We kept BlueJacket here during the winter of 2008 and the summer of 2009. The marina is well maintained and the staff is very nice. However, don't expect that to have staff at your beck and call during the week. They also have a small chandlery open during the week. Note that the marina is in a residential neighborhood and is a long way from any stores or restaurants.
