Reviews for Brewer Ferry Point Marina
friendly, well protected Marina, 2015-09-01
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (50)

Stopped here on our way west along the sound. We have been to several Brewer marinas and this one is also excellent. The staff, particularly Matthew, the new GM met us at the dock and made us feel welcome. Facilities were clean and well cared for. Only reason not 5 stars is shopping is 2 mi away.

Not Quite up to Par - but soon will be, 2013-08-05

This is the first Brewer's yard I have not been able to give 4 or 5 stars. The marina was delightful for an overnight stop - clean, and generally well maintained, but for a couple of problems. My dog cut up his foot on broken glass in the parking lot, and I had a piece of broken glass that I didn't see in time come up through the bottom of my shoe. I know it is tough to keep an area free of trash, but this was a bit dangerous.
The other problem was that the solo dock man didn't know what to charge us for our stay. He was otherwise very helpful and competent. We will catch up with Brewer's office eventually to iron this out, but the young man was at a loss. Management should equip their staff to be able to take care of business. I suspect that this marina seldom gets transients, and that is too bad, since it is well protected, almost a hurricane hole, with well maintained docks, solid power, and good wifi.

UPDATE: on 5th August, I had a discussion with Alicia, the manager at Ferry Point. She was distressed about my experience, and was taking immediate steps to prevent any recurrance. I am satisfied that when we return, all will be as it should be.

Clean and Professional, 2011-10-07

Stayed at the fuel dock- easy access, good depth, staff very professional and helpful. Power was good. Slightly remote and a bit pricey- understand more expensive as this is a favored marina for many of the boaters in the area. Be sure to take the short walk into town - clean and interesting places to eat and shop.

If you join their club, price is good, and this is a very protected place, with good facilities and the people nice and helpful.
