Reviews for Boston Yacht Haven
Home Port in Boston, 2016-11-27
Captain: , Boston, MA (20)

Had fantastic season based out of BYH. Outstanding staff in front office, on the docks and security.

Dissappointed, 2014-08-09
Captain: , Norwalk (273)

Whilst this is a nice marina, the staff seem to be demotivated and poorly trained.

Pricey, but well worth it!, 2013-07-26
Captain: , Wickford, RI (937)

Love coming here for a weekend in the city. Walk to the North End, Quincy Market. Great marina, spotless facilities, great dockhands, and Megan, Marina manager is professional, polite and very accommodating. Look forward to returning soon.

Best Boston Marina, 2013-07-02
Captain: , St. Louis, MO (980)

This is the best possible marina in Boston for a transient yacht. A complete rebuilding and expansion of the docks is in progress and the property is clean, safe, and extremely well managed.

If you are tied up along the outside or south side you might think you are at sea when the ferries and tour boats ,with their attendant wakes, come and go at all hours. Extra fenders and lines will be in order!

Nonetheless this is a perfectly convenient location to visit the many city attractions including the myriad small Italian restaurants at the North End.

Top Notch!, 2012-07-27
Captain: , Hilton Head (130)

Stayed here two weeks and wished for more! Boston is our new favorite stop over - simply too much to do and too little time! Walked every where - never bothered to eat outside the Northend! If you love Itilian food you are going to love this place. Avoid the Duck tour. Marina suffers a bit from the ferry's that run in and out on the adjoining fairway BUT overall its a great place with an awesome staff and very accomodating approach. Highly Recommended!

pricey but nice, 2011-02-22
Captain: , hingham (161)

New owners raised the transient rates. Was a bargain. Great facility. Caters to the big boats but always makes space. Next to the North End and it's great restaurants. Visit several times per summer. The guys on the docks couldn't be better.

IGY Recently took over operations, improvment in power, docks and staff to start. Every one was fantasic. Boston should be a must stop on your itinerary. One caveat "no wake zones" not so much
bring fenders a plenty. does calm down at night, kinda like an alarm clock in the morning.
Get of the boat and walk !!

A very nice facility. Lots of wakes at the dock from harbor traffic. Have plenty of large fenders! Fortunately, it calms down at night.

Boston at your stern, 2007-02-02
Captain: , Stratford, CT (146)

We stayed here in 2006. It is a nice facility with a friendly and helpful staff. For access to the North End the location can't be beat.

This area of Boston has opened up since the Big Dig and the removal of the I-93 Central Artery elevated highway. From this spot you are walking distance from all the best shopping, restaurants and culture that Boston has to offer.
