Reviews for Boston Sailing Center
Mid-Range Membership, 2013-07-26
Captain: , Boston, Ma (161)

In 2011 my buddy and I split a mid-range membership which included the fleet of J24's and the two Ranger 25's. Sharing a membership only added an additional $400 dollars to the price of a single membership, which was great for us because we only sailed together about half the time. (This was not an option for the higher tier memberships.) The ranger 25's were not avaible very often, but we could always get a J24.

Excellent school/fractional leasing, 2012-09-27

Top-shelf instruction combined with a large fleet. A great way to learn to sail and to sail a variety of sailboats without the expense of ownership. I've been a member off-and-on for about 30 years and have cruised their boats for up to two weeks on up to 40' boats.

Nice club, decent boats, 2011-08-31
Captain: , Boston (610)

Had a "cruising 35" membership here for 1 season. pros: great location, got to sail lots of different kinds of boats and learn in the process what I was looking for in the one i later purchased, it's also a friendly place with good opportunities to meet fellow sailors. cons: restricted availability for scheduling, mixed quality and age of boats.

An excellent sailing club, 2011-07-12
