Total renovation at Bootle Bay Fishing Lodge - Update as of April 2016, 2016-04-30
Captain: , Saint Petersburg, Fl. (95)

Bootle Bay Fishing Lodge has undergone a complete renovation beginning in the summer of 2014 with brand new docks to handle up to seven boats, new a/c units in all villas/rooms, overhaul of the kitchen and main lodge as well as the pool and so on. In addition a new covered and lighted fish cleaning station as well as a boat ramp was recently completed. Two electrical pedestals with twin 30 amp receptacles are now available on the docks. Vida, LaShanda, and Linda are back at it and ready to get back to what the Lodge was before the recession hit in 2008. We've known the Hepburn family for 30+ years and couldn't be happier for them as we have had some of the best times there! BBFL isn't for everyone but is the closest thing you will find to an out island family owned experience in West End for sure.

You need to visit the "new" Bootle Bay! Following the completion of new docks to handle 5 boats up to 35' along with 30amp shore power, the renovation of the rooms and grounds is also complete and will impress. The staff of Bootle Bay will make your stay enjoyable and reservations are reasonable. Plus, you can't find a better place as a home base for fishing and diving at Grand Bahama

Great place I've stayed there many times over the last 10 years. Vida and his staff will make sure you have eveything you need. Old Bahamas charm without the "New" Bahamas price and Vida's is an excellent cook. They have cottages and rooms. Close to great fishing as well.
