Reviews for Bonita Bills Waterfront Cafe
Great marina/cruiser bar, 2016-03-30

The place where everyone knows your name, 2015-02-02
Captain: , St Louis Missouri (276)

We came here first in October 2011 and stayed 15 months leaving for the Bahamas in January 2013. We stayed on east coast FL and returned to the Bahamas 2014. We just returned to Bonita Bills after visiting the Keys this last month. We have been in a lot of places since buying Mardi Gras 5 years ago. This place is the best of all.
Another reviewer complained about the difficulty getting into the docks by the bridge. It was hard for me too but in the end I got better at docking. There was an earlier harbormaster who has since been replaced by Steve who is a very seasoned sailer/ boat captain and I am positive deserves no criticism from the guy who had problem docking.
The bar opens at 5 or 5:30 and many locals frequent it which is a strong endorsement in my opinion. It closes at 10:00 except last night when they had a free Super Bowl part with free appetizers. We came in yesterday, Jan 31 1015 after being gone 2 years and it as if we had never left. The owner, Bill, the bookkeeper, Loraine, the harbormaster, the bartenders, the liveaboards, everyone welcomed us back and made me think, why would we want to stay anywhere else?! Trust me on this. Local watering hole, 2014-11-25
Captain: , Seabrook, TX (280)

Cold beer and wine, limited food, cash only, most evenings and weekends singer with canned music backup and small dance floor. Two dinghy docks, small one close under bridge which we used coming across channel from city dock on beach side. longer dock with better access at South end of restaurant. Crowd in November was mostly snow birds from up North.

Good enough that we went twice.

Dockmaster Incompetent, 2014-01-15
Captain: , Ft Myers Beach (74)

Placed me in an almost inaccessible slip, accused me of messing up the electrical access, insulted my wife and refused assistance. After I left, not easily but happlily, the next renter was a larger craft which collided with a bridge piling, a sailboat and did damage to the renter's craft while attempting to dock.

Good Old Florida Feel, 2012-06-01
Captain: , Ft. Myers Beach, FL (53)

Good food and drinks with reasonable prices, friendly staff. Lots of locals hang out here. Third Sunday each month has a nautical flea market with lots of possiblities. Lots of dingy dock space and close to the mooring field.

Bonita Bills Cafe and Marine Flea Market, 2012-05-25
Captain: , Cape Coral FL (322)

On the 3rd Sunday of the month they host a flea market that is mostly marine/nautical stuff. they have dinghy dockage, and are dog friendly. the flea market pickings are slim during the summer but its pretty lively during season...GET THERE EARLY or its packed! The cafe has a great open air atmosphere.
