Reviews for Boater's Grill
Nothing to write home about..., 2016-03-27
Captain: , Boston, MA, USA (123)

Overpriced for what you get. Most people seem to order a fish dish, which looks great, but I don't eat fish.
The hamburgers are pathetic. McDonalds makes a better burger.
The breakfasts seem reasonably priced, until you see the quality. My ham and cheese omlette seemed to be made with Kraft slices and one slice of sandwich meat.

Good food and nice view of harbor, 2016-03-03

The food was very good but felt the prices were a little high.. Great view of harbor. inside or outside seating.

Good food with a view, 2016-03-03

A bit pricey, but I guess were by Miami.
Food was very good

Surprisingly good food, 2015-10-14

Tied up at the sewall and had dinner there. Fish adobo was excellent. Fresh seafood. Beer and wine only. Reasonable prices.

Good food, okay service, 2015-03-22
Captain: , Merritt Island, FL (243)

Arrived around 1pm on Saturday. We waited 10 minutes to be seated even though several tables were open and clean. Food was good, service was just okay. Restaurant is outdoors with a nice view of the harbor. Bags of ice are $2.25 for a ten pound bag.

They really should put in moorings. Boats anchor on top of one another, no one knows who's using proper scope. Never on weekends, it's a madhouse. Loud pounding music, no boating skills. Good to walk dogs & hit hw store and Winn Dixie. Pump out. No water. Ice at restaurant which is high priced, sub par and curt service. Will only provision and pump out here in future.

Good Food, Service not so much, 2014-12-09

Ate here on a Monday night, very few people there. Food was very good. Service was just ok. It's expensive but worth it.

Great stop for a last shoreside meal before crossing to Bahamas, 2014-11-02
Captain: , Merritt Island, FL (372)

We stopped here for lunch and to wait for sunset before our night crossing to Bimini. We had a couple of good burgers (the only thing on the menu reasonably priced) and a couple of cold beers. Food was pretty good, service was passable.

Excellent Food, 2014-05-03
Captain: , Kemah, TX (612)

We were there on a Sunday! The restaraunt was very crowded and the wait was 45 minutes. Remember you have to be in line. You can't just sit on the deck on the dock and expect to be waited on. Seafood Paella was excellent and we split the dish for two. The pitcher of Sangria was excellent, but at $29.95 was very expensive. I probably would not order that again. The price wasn't listed! Service was better than average even though it was crowded

good food spot, 2014-04-07

Awesome Cuban Food @ the Boater's Grill, 2013-12-10
Captain: , Port Canaveral Yacht Club (107)

We thoroughly enjoyed the Paella which had generous portions of lobster, calamarie and all kinds of tasty seafood! The crabmeat tostones where to die for and the homemade hot sauce is not to be missed! We bought a bottle to add to our spices onboard!

I agree with the previous reviewer in that you should stick to the Cuban dishes since the Boaters Grill is run by a Cuban family. But I think it's much better than anything in Miami because of the location, the lack of a crowd and the staff were wonderfully friendly! But I disagree that the food was just OK. It was excellent and the home made Sangria was good too!

Passable, not great, 2013-11-07
Captain: , Seattle, WA (577)

The food was OK, but not of the quality of what you would find in Miami. Stick to the fish and cuban offerings.

Nice Boob Job, 2013-04-26
Captain: , Cape Coral (120)

Anchored here in early June 2012. Gal on a SeaRay decided to go topless all afternoon, that was OK with me. Drunk cubanos came in around midnight, anchored damned near on top of me and played disco music till 4am. They finally passed out. I woke them up with my horn at 8am when I left. This is a nice little park but the drunk cubans acted like there was not another boat for miles.

awesome staff, 2013-01-11
Captain: , St Augustine,Fl (182)

We want to say thank you to Boaters Grill and the staff. they were gracious to let us freeze our wahoo that was caught on the sail down fromWPB. We used the internet and got ice as well. We love No Name Harbour and Boaters Grill as place to stay awaiting the jump to the Bahamas.

Must do the whole fish, 2012-12-04
Captain: , Coconut Grove, FL (589)

This is one of few restaurants available from the water in the Biscayne Bay area. Dockage is limited on the weekends, as is the anchorage. Restaurant is very casual, dog friendly at outside tables. Fish is the best.

Four Stars because of its location, 2012-10-30
Captain: , Ft. Pierce FL. (208)

This is the only restaurant available without a car at No Name. Food was good, not great Service was lacking, our girl spent more time on the phone. But it's got great atmosphere. Right there at the anchorage with other boaters, and the occasional wild party. Would definitely stop back. Oh, and plenty of cold beer.

Hard to believe you're so close to Miami, 2012-08-29
Captain: , Atlanta, GA (291)

You'll feel a million miles away. The food was awesome. Service a bit slow, but hey, you're on a boat...slow down.
