Reviews for Boat Tree Marina
5 stars for the people, 1 Star for the docks, no wifi and off leash dogs, 2015-06-22

Just left this marina after a couple of months on E dock. It is in a great location for boating and protection because it is north of the railroad bridge so there is no waiting to go north on the river. The staff, Kristi, Jenn and Mike were great to work with. The down side is the docks are dangerous and the restaurant is closed. There was a boater that let his big dogs 3 run off leash and poop with out pick up. A small dog was bit by the big dogs. There is a deli that has great food during the day. The docks are floating wood and are in kind of rough shape. They do have pump out at each slip. There are also nice, laundry with private head/showers for dockers. The nearest grocery and supplies are 2-4 miles with no bike trails. We saw no free wifi while there.

Just left this marina after seven months wet, covered storage. It is in a great location because it is north of the railroad bridge so there is no waiting to go north on the river. The staff, Kristi, Jenn and Mike were great to work with. The down side is the covered slips leak bad, the bar is closed and the restaurant is closed. There is however a deli that has great food durung the day. The docks are floating wood and where exposed to the elements are in kind of rough shape. They do have fuel at prevailing prices and pump out at each slip. There are also nice, private head/showers for dockers.

Nice marina,, 2013-07-01
Captain: , Key Largo (5457)

Great deli Restaruant and bar on property, , good security(locked gates on docks) floating docks, terrific staff and service, Exellent WiFi and friendly boaters also. Fun spot to stay.
If they had a loaner car, I would have given them 5 stars!
I will definatly be back here again

Nice quiet marina, 2013-06-06

Been here almost 3 years. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Deli is good for breakfast and lunch.

Great Place but to expensive for the average sailboater., 2012-11-07

I really liked this marina and enjoyed berthing there but they raised their prices to the point that the average sailboater can't afford to stay there. I guess they want only powerboats!

Staff is excellent. Very helpful.
Ships store on premesis. has a stock of the " forgot at home" things, and a lot of marine hardware too.
The docks are a bit shabby, beauise of broken boards. Its safe, but watch where you step. he WiFi did not work, and the locals docked there said this happens a lot.

The deli is my favorite of the two restaurants. They take the time to cook every thing correctly. The deli does take outs.
they have pump outs available, and there is 30 amp at all the docks and the big boat docks have 50amp, also.

The facility, and mainly the bathrooms/showers were very clean.

One thing I did notice was they have a sheet they give out with the marina rules on it. No uncontrollede children, no fishing on the docks, no diving or jumping in the pool. These rules were obviously not enforced.

My 2011 Home, 2011-07-12

My First Mate, Carole, and I, have been living aboard the Home Stone since Nov. of 2010. Our home port is Boat Tree Marina. We have made several trips down river from Boat Tree and plan on leaving for the Keys and beyond this coming December. While Boat Tree has been our home the staff and other residents and visitors have all been helpful and friendly. The docks need some major repairs but overall it i a very nice marina. We checked out three other marinas in the area before settling on this one which we felt was the best. I would recommend it to anyone.
There are two nice restaurants here, the deli is our favorite. It is open for breakfast and lunch. The other restaurant includes a bar, has live music on the weekends and is attached to the pool.
Traffic is heavier on the weekends and produces some very nice rocking waves which have proven very pleasing to us.
While they sell only gasoline, they do have a diesel delivery truck that comes by on demand. Prices are commensurate with other marinas.

docks in disrepair. security poor.

All marinas should be like this., 2010-01-22
Captain: , Buffalo (1154)

This is the best marina on our trip so far. Everything is right here. Major repair, travelift, gas at the dock, and they will arrange for a truck to deliver diesel. There are two restaurants on the property. The docks are floating in a very sheltered cove. No current. New clean washrooms, and a good strong wifi signal. Paul, the jack of all trades is a gem, but the rest of the staff are excellent too. The best of all the cost is only $25 per night incl elec. for a 36 footer with boatUS discount. I would give this marina a 6 star if I could.

Everybody quite friendly and very informative about cruising the river.

Everyone mentions restaurant and bar, but the little deli close to the store is excellent.

Boat Tree Marina, 2008-10-29
Captain: , Sanford, FL (206)

Good marina with most services. Plenty of slippage but can get full during holiday weekends. Multiple transient slips available for a reasonable fee (around $20). Transient slips are marked by orange ribbons on cleats. 50amp and 30amp + water hook ups available at most slips.
Only fuel offered is Mid-Grade gasoline. No diesel is available. Marina has a good restaurant (Captains Cove) with live outdoor entertainment. Other services on site are a deli, salon, showers, pool, sales/service center and a ships store.

Boat Tree Marina, 2008-01-07
Captain: , Dunnellon, Fl (3)

Have stored a boat here for more than a year. Under new management. Several transient slips (look for orange tape on dock cleats for vacant slips). Special slips for restaurant visitors. Fair restaurant and popular bar. Currently has live band on weekends. Approach depth about 8 feet. Good fuel dock, repairs available, but need appointment unless emergency. Active boating center.
