Reviews for Bluffer's Park Marina
Watch your depth here, 2017-06-24

We were assurd that there was at least 9 feet of water here. We got trapped in the marina and could not get out with our 7' 8" draft sail boat. Very disappointing.

Friendly but Unkempt, 2016-10-12
Captain: , Miami Beach, FL (210)

The staff is friendly and helpful, but the marina has little going for it.

The inlet entrance is one of the worst marked we've seen for a transient.

Although they try to keep the marina clean, it doesn't take long for dog, bird, and seaweed guano to grow. Seeing dead birds and fish is common and the locals don't seem to clean their dog poop from the docks.

Additionally if you have arachnophobia don't bother - cobwebs are everywhere.

The docks and piers are narrow.

Location is great; but that's about it.

I wouldn't trust Great Lakes Yacht Services With deflating a dingy which is the local mechanics nearby.

Reliable deep port with lots of facilities., 2015-12-15

I have been in and out of Bluffers Park many times including a couple of winters storage on the hard.

The facilities are top shelf, probably the best on Lake Ontario. Deep water, easily navigated into with great range markers, it's just a good reliable all weather any boat facility. Repair facilites and travel lift are good.

There are also beautiful walking paths around the conservation and excellent year round live aboard facilities (if you have a car).

Dogfish Pub, 2014-06-11

The Marina is "OK" but do not come here looking for a restaurant. The food at the Dofish Pub is horrible. Probably the worst I've ever eaten. I've been here last season and came in again at the start of the 2014 season to see if anything has changed. Sadly...same ol' menu, same ol' crap food. If you're looking for Stella on tap and great scenery, then it's ok, just don't be hungry.

If they actually got a REAL CHEF and featured a seasonal menu, I bet the place would be packed.

A Hike to Shopping, 2013-07-17

Yes it is picturesque but lower part of Brimley Rd is the steepest hill in Toronto. They even have an escape lane part way down! Kingston Rd has a food store and restaurants. I'd phone a cab both ways.

Great Marina, 2012-11-13

Having spent time at numerous marinas in Eastern Canada and the US, I can say that this small marina in Eastern GTA is one of the best. Staff are friendly (very rare in the marine industry) and extremely competent. They will take care of your baby and understand your obsession.
Bluffers sits in a very picturesque location and with the 15-20 year round liveaboards + House Boats there is an added %u201Csalty%u201D colour that increases its charm.

Stopover Summer 2011, 2012-04-02
Captain: , Newcastle (53)

Disappointed. Falling into disrepair and advised many seasonal customers have vacated due to high prices. Staff was slow. Simple slip assignment for two boats together was confusing, despite many empty slips. Slip assigned had permanent bicycles under tarps on end of dock from next boat. New slip assigned was OK. 3 different security codes required for access to compound, dock, and washrooms. Meal at the restaraunt was slow, poor quality, and medium priced. Will not stop here again if other facilities are available.

nice weekend getaway, 2010-11-12

Good restaraunt in a park setting. Good place to dingy around or go for a walk or bike.

Good spot, 2009-08-19
Captain: , Newcastle Ontario (102)

Great place to stay. Deep water.
Bit of a walk to the bathroom/shower facilities.
Good stopover before hitting the Toronto area
