Reviews for Blue Water RV Resort and Marina
Bluewater is OK, 2017-05-21

We stayed there for one night May 20th, 2017. It had been two years since we last visited and the campground has grown alot. Todd, the owner is very accomodating and everyone is friendly. The facilities are newer and clean. The inland creek protected us from the strong thunderstorms that blew through. The WiFi was slow but worked. I was charged less than a $1.00 per foot for our transient slip. On the downside, there is no restaurant at the facility or within walking distance. There is no courtesy car and the transient slips are open. Most TN river marinas have covered slips. We were put on a face dock with another boat and there was not enough room. About 10' of our stern hung off the pier. The approach is narrow and winding. Follow the markers !

Great Place in the Winter, 2017-01-11

This is an excellent marina. We received the royal treatment from the owner and the manager. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful with river conditions and grounding danger spots as we headed down river.

After the freeze we were able to take on fresh water since they had a line in the water that did not freeze. Not all marinas have this.

We definitely will be coming back in more seasonable weather to enjoy this gem.

Great little Hide-away, 2016-05-12

I mimic everything everone else has said.
NOTE: This place has expanded beyond what the satellite photo shows, which is for the better.

great little out of the way marina, 2016-05-06

great little out of the way marina. staff is friendly , and the transient fee of .85 is not bad. Stayed one night. Secure docks, no traffic noise ! Very little river traffic, mostly bass boats.

Nice stopping place, 2015-06-26

Great little place. Quiet, clean and well run. Call by phone not radio. Give it a thumbs up all the way. The restaurant up Richland creek is about 2 miles or so but worth the dinghy ride. Do NOT try it in anything that drafts more than 2 feet. Good food, cold beer, and specialize in steaks.
The showers at the marina are like new, clean and well cared for. Rate for slip is good too 75 cents/ft. I would give it a 5 if they had a car.

Outstanding marina and worth the stop!, 2014-10-16

This marina is one sweet little gem. Nice slips, security and the showers are NICE!! We have been to alot of marinas since boating in Canada and the states and this little marina is by far one of the nicest we have been in. Good things will come to this young couple!!!

very great staff!, 2014-10-06

We pulled in to find relief during a lightning storm. I called in and asked if we could pull to the gas pump, and wait out the storm, then refuel when it let up. "Cmon on" I backed in, tied up, and went to the office/store. Great guy. I asked if he had any can openers, and he had sold his last ones. (He has a nice camp ground there also). He gave us his last can opener. After using the restroom, and seeing the VERY nice showers, myself and crew took a hot shower. Fueled up, watered up, it had stopped raining. We pushed off. Good Karma coming to this marina!

Awesome quiet marina, 2014-07-21
Captain: , Iuka ms (131)

Brand new docks with 50 and 30 amp power, water, free wifi and cable. Todd put us in a 50' covered slip that was available since heavy rains were in the forecast. Great dock security with coded gates. Large fire pit to use on shore during spring and fall with sitting for 20 people. Covered patio with sitting where they will bring in live bands with cash bar on special weekends.
Nice area to walk the pups also.

I thought it was a great place, 2014-02-18

We stopped there in late October and found the people to be very helpful and accomodating. Put us in a new covered slip with easy access. Bathrooms were clean and the little store had what we needed to fix dinner on the boat.

New docks only two weeks old, 2013-10-08

Npw a very nice complete marina. Mostly covered slips with one 100 foot side tie space with two power poles.

Blue Water Dock, 2011-07-22
Captain: , On the water (1501)

This "Marina" is really just a dock you can tie to if needed. The dock is about 45 feet long but could handle a 60' boat. Todd and his staff go out of their way to be helpful. No power or water on the dock but it's a fun place to tie up and stay for a night or two or three! If you decide to stay tell Todd that Todd & Brenda on Life's2Short sent you.
