Docks in very poor condition. No lighting at night, be careful of poorly stored hoses, broken electrical services littering decking. Weekends in good weather have a lot of wake activity, just put your laundry in a 5 gallon bucket and let the wake activity aggitate it. Use parking on opposite side of trailer yard, the parking Nazis will defend spaces better than a junk yard dog.

Pump out is done on saturday mornings before 11 am. Ber sure to sign up in laudry room on unmarked clip board. If it's raining, forget it. Todd the dockmaster melts in poor weather.

They rent small motor boats to anyone. Be carefull of unqualified boaters exiting and entering docks. The bar Sea Hags is a great spot. Loud ManateeMashers and WakeMakers are constantly entering tight space between docks to fill up on great food and alchololic beverages. Enjoy the loud music and open exausts Saturday and Sunday.

There is currents through the docks, though with many slack tides, entering and exiting is really not an issue. Many live aboard people are watching out for hapless sailors and help without being asked. The best part of Blind Pass is the people who live there.

DO NOT give a security deposit to the dockmaster. Say your arte broke. Her would not return $600 to me on my departure. Toddy needed a new pair of shoes.

OK marina with a restaurant on location., 2014-09-16

We stopped in while visitng local marinas in the area. The dockmaster wasn't in and apparently is off work Sunday and Monday each week. We attempted to use the restroom and was asked by a fella there what we were there for. When we told him, we were told that the restrooms were private and for current tenants only and that we had to use the restroom in the bar. I understand the intent, but it wasn't like these are pristine restrooms and resembled more of the upkeep at a typical public restroom in a convienence store. Also, there appeared to be no wake or ripples on the water, but every boat was bouncing around like the first view of the ship in Captain Ron. Overall we were not impressed.

Great Marina, 2014-07-25

I am not sure why anyone else has had any issues with this place. I've been at this Marina for over a year, and am also a liveaboard. I have had no issues with calling the owner, Todd. He is not only very personable, but very helpful when it comes down to needing something. Very nice gated dock and great that parking is reserved for Marina residents only. He is a one man operation, therefore he can't be in the office all the time but he has his phone on him at all times. This marina has a very good restaurant, has showers, and bathrooms, A pumpout that comes right to your boat. Highly recommended.

Not a Good Transient Choice, 2014-02-12
Captain: , Hampton NH (292)

Called three times over two days and left messages but got no response. Finally was within a couple of miles and they finally answered the phone. When I asked about transient dock space, was told that it was inconvenient for them and they would have to move around a couple of boats. They told me to call Pass-A-Grille marina but after doing some research on ActiveCaptain I determined this would have been a poor choice for us. We ended up at Gulfport Municipal Marina, an ActiveCaptain Ist Choice which turned out fine for our needs.

Stayed there for a couple of nights, 2013-02-16

The folks running the place were helpful and got me in nicely. I was lucky in that I docked at slack tide. Once it started to run, I learned how lucky I was to not have to dock in the middle of it. Then when I left, one of my neighbors was nice and threw my transom around helping me pivot and get outta there. I thought he was being nice, but it was absolutely necessary. Again, I left on a changing tide and I don't think I could have gotten out of there otherwise. The place can be alittle noisy with the traffic going over the bridge that's right next to the marina, but they rent jetskys in the marina and there's lots of small fishermen coming in and out. The bar is nice, but can be too convienent, ha ha. The parking was a little challenging, but again, the people running the place did a great job.

My Wife and I dock our boat here. Plenty of liveaboards that are friendly and watch out for everyone. Great dining/bar and friendly dockmaster that goes out of his way to help. Walking distance to the beach.

Fun overnight spot, 2011-06-12
Captain: , Indian Rocks Beach (296)

Older quiet marina, but had everything you need for a nice stay. $1.50 a foot, plus $10 for electric per day - no cable TV. Easy in and out. It is right behind a large bar/restaurant with more across the street and only 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice helpful dockmaster. Reseve before 5pm though as he isn't on site at night. Two rows of slips are owned by condo next door, that may have been where the other reviewer was.

Unfriendly and aging docks., 2009-06-28
Captain: , Palmetto, Fl (10)

Wife and I wanted to check this marina out for sometime. Finally visited and found no parking signs everywhere. We went to office and found it closed. Went to docks looking for someone to talk with and found someone who said he would call authorities and charge us with trespassing if we did not leave immediately. I would never recommend this marina to anyone. The docks were falling apart, with aging wood planks that were splitting and sagging. Go see for yourself. We were looking for a boat slip but will never return here.
