Reviews for Blaine Harbor
Great harbor for a storm, 2016-10-16
Captain: , Chicago (90)

We got our boat here the night before a HUGE wind storm. The concrete docks held us well and the break water did a great job. I was so glad we were here for this storm felt very safe. Also great bathrooms, showers, laundry, and dog walks. Wish there was a closer store, but can't win them all.

Nice and very quiet, 2016-08-06
Captain: , Blaine, WA (116)

Only downside is that ACE Hardware is the only marine store in the area. West Marine and the others are 20 minutes away in Bellingham.

Fuel available nest door at the resort marina. If you show them your dock lease you get a discount for being a tenant of Blaine Marina.

Great stop - Gateway to BC, 2014-06-06
Captain: , Road Town (537)

This is one of the friendliest marinas I've been to. Everyone has a great attitude. It is at its core a fisherman's marina (crab) with more seagulls per boat than is normal.

The prices are so low that you know they are trying to attract more boaters. Fuel is the lowest in the area. Fill up before heading to Canada

Permanent Moorage for Us Now, 2014-05-11
Captain: , Lady Smith BC (70)

We moved here two years ago, its big enough to enjoy local establishments and small enough to be quiet and friendly. Good staff, kept clean and nice to be in open water only a few minutes out of the bay. West Marine is just up the street. Walsh marine next door for haul outs etc. Only 20 minutes to Bellingham if you want to shop at the big stores.

Our Home Port, 2013-09-26
Captain: , Blaine WA (101)

quiet friendly and close to Sucia. Our dog LOVES the marine park just outside the marina, grassy areas, picnic spots and great views. Wonderful place to see a sunset.
Showers and laundry are always clean.

Excellent Marina, 2013-09-04
Captain: , Calgary (84)

Stayed overnight prior to our trip to Sucia Island. Friendly people, clean, nice showers.

Great stopping place before heading to Vancouver, 2013-05-15
Captain: , Whidbey Island, WA (191)

We stayed at Blaine to evaluate it as a stopping point on the way to Vancouver BC from the Seattle area. It is better than Point Roberts, more things to do within walking distance, inexpensive and pleasant staff.

Great staff and Marina, 2012-08-08
Captain: , Blaine (30)

Moved here from another marina 5 months ago. The marina facilities are great. Staff are freindly and attentive. Close to shopping and West Marine

Home Port, 2012-01-06
Captain: , Blaine WA (10)

Home Port since 2001. The marina has been great. Nice parks, good food in town, easy walking. West Marine store and boat yards are a plus. Transit moorage with easy docking. Great 4th of July parade in town and fireworks.

Very nice marina, 2011-09-15
Captain: , Seattle (110)

Blaine Marina is a jewel! Great sunsets, view of the Peace Arch, easy access, neat and clean, a great value. $.75/ft, showers are $1, washer is $1, dryer is $1, it doesn't get much better than this!

Nice Little Marina, 2011-06-30
Captain: , Bellingham, Washington (192)

Blaine Marina is a very nice, clean and quiet place to moor your boat. Friendly and helpful staff is always responsive. Most size slips are available and the wait for sizes that are full is usually not too long. About 17 miles from the San Juans and right on the Canadian border, close to the Gulf Islands and up through BC.

Good Marina, 2011-04-05
Captain: , Seattle (50)

Moored here for almost a year, friendly staff and newer / wide docks.

Blaine Harbor, 2011-01-15
Captain: , Fort Myers, Florida, USA (584)

A nice, and somewhat unique, situation with Canada in view to the North. There is a steam powered boat festival in summer that is fun to attend. Moorage here can count as waiting time to get into the Bellingham Squalicum. Good size grocery in town and a short cruise to the unique location of Point Roberts.

Blaine Harbor, 2009-08-04
Captain: , Brownsville, WA (558)

This facility, run by the Port of Bellingham, is the finest small town marina we have found in WA. The beauty of the marina and surrounding area are outstanding. Town is 2 blocks away. There are a few restaurants, a bakery and ice cream is available.

Port of Bellingham, Blaine Marina, 2007-02-02
Captain: , Bellingham, WA (88)

Great Docks w/ good wiring (30 & 50 amp service) & monster cleats. Friendly staff & helpfull liveaboards. Pump out carts that work! Only minor complaint is that the South end of the Straight of Georgia can be snotty at times. Good jumping off point for Canada.
