Reviews for Big Bay Public Dock
Community Dock at Stuart Island in Big Bay, 2014-07-27
Captain: , Port Isabel TX (640)

We love it here. No power on dock, usually water, but not this year as lack of rain shut them down for water on dock. Eagle Lake is a must hike easy 1.9 KM. Dock on lake with two row boats for free public use. Lake is large pond that is home to many eagles. Great viewing. A few essentials in store, showers, laundry.

Scenic and secure, 2014-04-05
Captain: , Seattle (212)

Be ready for some cross current when docking. There is plenty of space, and the piers are in excellent condition. The views of surrounding islands are lovely, with steep, tree-covered hills. Float planes come and go, and the rapids can be seen clearly. I wouldn't want to anchor here, so the float is a welcome sight.

A good place to wait for rapids, 2013-09-28
Captain: , Victoria BC (515)

Excellent, nearly new docks. The whole facility is clean and tidy. A basic selection of goods at the small community-run store. Whale/bear/rapid-watching boats tie up here for lunch and potty break so there's lots of activity and entertainment while they are here.

A nice place to stop, 2013-08-23
Captain: , Bainbridge Island, WA (343)

The docks are in good shape, the staff at the store are very friendly and helpful, and the restroom/shower is in very good condition. When you dock here, you support the community association. Ice and water also are available.

Good stop over, 2013-06-14
