Reviews for Beverly Port Marina
Great staff and service, 2015-06-02
Captain: , Shirley, MA (10)

Just had my Bristol 34 launched at BPM. Turns out I had a broken centerboard cable and a leak in the CB routing tube. Staff was extremely helpful in allowing me to make the necessary repairs and put off until the following day actually putting me in the water. Can't say enough about how this took the stress out of the situation. I will be winter storing with BPM.

good service, 2015-05-15

we haul out for winter here. we had a very good service, people are frendly. the marina is not in good shape but we had everything we needed. I recomend this place.

Very Accommodating Staff, 2014-07-16
Captain: , Salem, Ma. (10)

used BPM for an emergency haul situation. Originally requested to be on the hard for 2 days. Repair parts issue led to an over 2 week stay. Frank, the owner, was very understanding and the staff was super helpful in getting me underway again. Will use them again for future service and am considering summer dockage with them as well.

Nice place to visit, 2013-07-12
Captain: , Scituate, MA (195)

We pulled into the marina early on July 4th without a reservation. Very friendly personnel who gave us maps and pointed out places to go. Clean facilities and resonable rates. Since we had a dog on-board we weren't sure how the town dealt with dogs but we pleasanly surprised that no one objected to ours when we went to the beach across the way. Indeed, there were many dogs in the water and at the edge of the beach.

An alternative to expensive Boston marinas, 2012-09-17

Friendly, capable, and efficient dock and office staff. An hour from Logan airport with easy access to downtown Beverly. Wonderful fish and lobster markets near marina.

Peaceful mid-week recovery, 2012-07-21
Captain: , Orcas Island, WA (212)

Beverly Port isn't fancy, but they have everything we needed - clean showers, washers, and one working dryer - one was broken.

We got 4G internet with Clear (uses Sprint's network, I think) and found two good restaurants nearby. The Anchor is within a block and has decent food at great prices...not huge portions...and is a salty local hangout with a real bar, pool tables, etc. The other restaurant is Anmol, Indian food. It was priced like usual and the food wasn't hot-spicy, but it was flavorful.

We walked across the bridge and checked out Salem. The walk into Salem's main area is easy enough. We also walked to Marblehead, and that ended up being a profound walking experience. Not for the weak. But there's a great trail that leads through a wooded area called the Marblehead Rail-Trail. If you're a walker (or runner), it's a must-do.
