Reviews for Bethune Basin
A sorry little halte nautique, 2014-08-18
Captain: , Decize, France (1509)

I rate marinas and anchorages by the amenities they have. Each gets a star for one of the following: Electricity; Water; Rubbish; WiFi; Attraction. Don't have one of these, deduct a star, etc. For subjective criteria read the review:
There was absolutely nothing here except a couple of side ties to a concrete wall, but it looked like a couple of locals were storing their boats here so there was no place for us. This rest of the basin is predominantly used by peniches made of steel so that when they bounce against the shore, the rocks and pilings in the water don't hurt them.
This is too bad since Bethune is a university town and apparently has lots of activities, stores, etc., but unless the town fixes up this basin, I'm afraid not too many boats will stay.
