Reviews for Belle Vue Yachting Center
Good Service - Longer Walk to Restuarants, 2016-08-22
Captain: , Lincroft (184)

Stayed night of Aug 10, 2016. Facilities well kept. Transient docks are alongside channel and there are some wakes but traffic is considerably light and boaters were considerate. Ignore previous estimates of walking distances, closest restuarant is exactly 1.2 miles walking one way through Snug Harbor, next to Lockwoods Marina and they don't serve breakfast. If you don't have wings use your dinghy - about a third of a mille up Potter Pond inlet by water or head further down river to Jerusalem.

Convenient Hopping off Point, 2016-07-30
Captain: , Charlottesville (265)

Easy in and out. They put us on the T-head; lots of wakes and current, but the current runs parallel to the dock, so it wasn't too much of an issue docking, but be ready to tie up quickly so it doesn't catch you and pivot you around. WiFi unusable, even with our booster (I couldn%u2019t even get my PC on the Internet while sitting in their office, although my iPad worked fine there.) Serviceable showers; full ships store and services. No shopping within walking distance, and we seemed to be out of range of Uber, although that could change.

Good Spot to Stop, 2015-10-04
Captain: , Wickford, RI (560)

We stayed 9/28, arrived just after closing but the office was there waiting for us, thank-you. Very nice, clean showers and rest-rooms. A bit of a walk, maybe 20 miuntes, to food but it's an enjoyable walk. Current can get pretty strong at certain tide states. A nice, well-run marina.

Beautiful Marina, 2015-01-10
Captain: , Deep River, CT (251)

On our way to Newport, we pulled into Point Judith to get out of rough seas and called to see if they could provide a slip for the night. Everyone at Point Judith Marina was extremely friendly and helpful. The entire marina was spotless. The heads and showers were very clean. Not much to do near the marina, but marina staff directed us to Mantunuck Oyster Bar, about a 1/2 mile walk. Dinner was excellent.
Overall, Point Judith Marina is an excellent stop.

Very Good Stop, 2012-11-15
Captain: , East Falmouth, MA (1643)

We stopped here on 11/3/12 after Sandy. Although there was a good amount of damage we were well taken care of. We were offered a special off season ratr and a discount on fuel. There is a very good restaurant about .5m away. I would definitely return.

Now merged with Point Judith MArina, 2011-11-28
Captain: , point judith, ri (40)

Both Marinas are now one. Owned/operated by the same people.

First class. It's a long walk for food though. This isde of the pond has few stores and restaraunts, though some are very good. Not really walking distance though, unless you really like to walk.

All of the real activity is on the side with the state pier and party boats.

Super friendly, super helpful, great facilities, 2011-10-23
Captain: , Austin, Texas (200)

We came in here in search of veterinary help for our sick dog, and while the marina obviously has no such facilities, their help and guidance made it possible for us to get needed care with a minimum of delay and hassle. They obviously care about their slipholders and transient guests. We would defiinitely stay ther again!

Great safe harbor, 2011-09-05
Captain: , Stony Point, NY (852)

Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent head/showers, laundry gas grills under a pavillion. Transients are put on the outside of the facing dock, and during the storm that night we were rocked around, but safe. Town and restaurants are a long but pleasant walk.

Very friendly!, 2009-05-27
Captain: , Fredericton, NB, CAN (477)

We just stopped twice - coming in and going out, to ask questions. Mark and crew were very friendly - let us stay on the dock while we walked to a market. Gave us access to wifi while we were there.

Good people!

Agreed, 2007-07-17
Captain: , Huntington, NY (2311)

I agree with Captain: Douglas Gould. Also, Capt Jack's, a considerable walking distance through a residential neighborhood including someone's backyard, is a very worth while walk for the scenery

First Rate! Clean facilities, 2007-05-07
Captain: , Block Island (1679)

First rate marina, but with limited transient space. Superb boat yard/repairs and mechanics. All new showers and facitlities, pool, laundry.
