Reviews for Beaver Park North Gas Dock
Packed Marina but friendly folks, 2015-09-09
Captain: , CURTICE (171)

The entrance to the marina is narrow and could be difficult in bad weather. Depth was about 7ft coming through the channel in 2015 (high water year). 6+ft at dock.

The marina must have one of the highest occupancies of any on this end of the lake - so they must be doing something right. Only a few docks open and available for transients. 98% small to medium sized power boats.

Restaurant on site. When we were there they were packed, and only 2 wait staff. If you dock on the West side of the marina you will have to walk all the way around the marina and over a bridge to get to the office, restaurant and YC.

There are port a pots on the west side and a nice beach.

Worth a stop if you want something other than the huge Marina in Lorain. We would go back again if the weather was good. Call ahead though as space is limited.
