Reviews for Beacon Bay Marina
Wonderful spot, 2017-08-18
Captain: , Ottawa ON (131)

Spent about three weeks here. Site is absolutely wonderful, lots of green space, very friendly staff. Has good launch ramp, great pool and newer playstructure for the kids, showers are nice and big, but the shower heads are getting plugged up and sometimes little water is coming out.

The store has a great selection of items, and as this marina is a partner with five other marinas, parts can be had very easily.

Excellent!, 2017-07-31

Great facility, clean washrooms, very accommodating staff. Locals very welcoming & friendly. Recommend highly! Offered a 3 for 2 transient rate, good value!

Great: Some Reservations, 2016-08-12
Captain: , Port of Toronto (306)

The staff is always willing to help at the docks. It's a good thing since they docks are short and close together. The finger docks are short and narrow.

Washrooms and showers are nothing short of great. The location is a little too far from town and sdaly like many old Ontario towns, the liquor store and food market is in the outskirts. Good news is that there are three taxi companies!

Great place!, 2015-10-04
Captain: , Melbourne (70)

We stayed here for one week. Our draft is 6' and although the charts indicated zero depth at the entrance, we had no trouble getting in. The town of Penetanguishene is a half hour walk way and a large Foodland is at the top of a steep hill. Easy to ride around to the supermarket; a little further to Midland. The staff are great; there is a swimming pool and the six bathrooms are warmed, clean and have hot showers. Good rates too.

Exceptional Marina, 2015-07-15
Captain: , Essex, CT (1675)

I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the service, the quality and cleanliness of the showers and bathrooms or the friendliness of the local boaters. We have met amzingly generous people here, have dined with, drunk with, and learned from wonderful people -- including the staff. Mike, the head of the marina is open to share his experience and others in the marina will give you guides on what's coming up on the Georgian Bay and Northern Channel. Great provisioning nearby as well. All in all we have found this to be quite an experience and highly recommend it.

New bathrooms, 2014-09-17
Captain: , Kelso, Wa. (884)

New bathroom laundry building. 6 complete batroom units. Only one washer and dryer. Brand new well, water tastes fine.

Staff is friendly and helpfull. We were offerer a vehicle to go to town for groceries. Ship store with good selction of charts.

Had my boat stored there for the winter, 2010-03-12
Captain: , Midland (70)

Very dissapointed in every aspect of service and commitment. Would not recommend them for any work.

Docks are brand new and well designed - a little tight for bigger boats, but still nice.

Water quality on tap is terrible.

Bathroom is clean but looks like it hasn't been updated in 40 years. Very worn.

A full service marina. Hosts annual "Great Loopers" rendezvous.
Very attentive.
