Reviews for Bayside Marina
Great for a quick stop, 2014-06-22
Captain: , Bronx NY (87)

Easy to navigate to. The marina is simple and clean. People are friendly and willing to lend a hand. Had to stop in for quick supplies.

Great public 'no frills' laid back marina, 2014-02-22
Captain: , Brooklyn, NY (30)

I kept my 30 ft sailboat at a mooring here last summer and was very pleased with the service, convenience, and affordability of this facility. It's easy to get to from Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan by car and the Bayside LIRR station is a short taxi ride away. Walk across the Cross Island Expressway on the footbridge and you can call car service or walk a few blocks to a mall with fast food restaurants. Be warned that you must be a 'member' to park in the parking lot - they actively tow away cars without a sticker. The mooring bay is well protected except from a NNE blow and Little Neck Bay is not subject to the same amount of powerboat traffic and wake chop as you see in other nearby LIS bays. 24 hour launch service was nice too.

Good for a quick stop, 2012-08-24

If you are in need of a restroom and cold drinks, this place is a very convenient stop-by. Make sure there is someone to re-open the gate for you once you want to get back to the boat.

Perfect Marina for Northern Queens, 2012-08-15
Captain: , Manhasset Bay (23)

Just off the Cross Island Parkway is this Public Marina with plenty of moorings, a long fishing pier, an adequet snack bar with hot food and beverages and great 24 hour launch service, parking and much more. I keep my J22 there we are very satisfied with the service of the concessioner who runs the facility.
