Reviews for Baltimore Marine Centers at Inner Harbor
Great Location, 2017-07-30
Captain: , Middle River, MD (150)

In the heart of Inner Harbor. Went to a baseball game, walked around the area and had a super time. The dockmaster and help were super. Both friendly and helpful they were available with short notice even though the marina was almost full. No question, this marina is worth a visit. Pump out available on request and they bring it right to your slip. Did not need fuel. Another visit is being planned. The trip up the river is exciting.

7/4/17 UPDATE: We just stayed for another 3 day visit and so impressed with this wonderful place.

Very Expensive , 2017-06-25
Captain: , San Diego (300)

We moved here after displeasure with another marina out of town. When we arrived the Dock master was very friendly and made sure we had a view of the city when we tied up. The office girl didn't tell us anything about the marina or the city we had to ask about pool and wifi. Good security with locked gate at the entrance. Boaters lounge was small and a little pathetic for such a big nice marina. Guest have use of the pool at the hotel across the street and the gym. We were surprised when we arrived and the marina was more then half empty. We didn't understand why. Then we realized it was because it's the most expensive marina in the area at 2.50/foot during the week then it jumps up to 3.00/foot during the weekend. When it became the weekend we left as not to be gouged.

Great marina for the Inner Harbor, 2017-06-06
Captain: , Boca Raton, FL (1421)

I was surprised how good this marina is. From the DockMaster to the OfficeMaster, I enjoyed our stay. The ability to either do my own pumpout or have it done for me was a great option. The restaurant, Rusty Scupper, was far far better then what we expected. Security was very good, facilities were great. Location, Location, Location. The only thing that i would have liked to have seen??? There is a cleaning boat that travels the inner harbor everyday picking up litter and weeds. They need to contract for that boat to clean the marina and have someone else clean the rest. Way to much trash and grass in the slips. 4 Stars because We also had a hard time with the Internet. The WIFI is strong but they use an outside company to provide the Internet and it is very bad and not protected when it does work. Why not provide the Internet directly then it would be a 5+ Star

holiday weekend in baltimore, 2016-10-04
Captain: , Longport, NJ (50)

arrived in a downpour but dock hand ready to help get into slip. We enjoyed dinner at Phillips seafood then really went for the crabs at LP Steamers. Didn't see the sun until Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a sunny cruise home to Rock Hall on Monday. Marina is very accommodating and enjoyed the pool at the Sonesta.

Best place to overnight in the Inner Harbor, 2016-09-26
Captain: , Selby Bay (20)

Good slips, helpful staff and great prices.

Expensive and very slow WiFi, 2016-09-18
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (310)

While a great location, they reduce the bandwidth of the WiFi at the docks so you can barely get email. High speed WiFi requires a visit to the office. Very expensive - Henderson's Warf is a better bet.

Quality Marina, Great Location, 2016-08-24
Captain: , Brick, nj (50)

Arrival, tie-up, and check-in were good. Pump-out is available from slips, which is convenient. Floating docks are very wide and stable. Access to docks is via key card. All staff were helpful.

Location is excellent for walking to Inner Harbor.

BMC Inner Harbor, 2016-08-21

Beutiful floating docks, plenty of space and plenty of depth. Very secure marina. Beautiful skyline view.

Excellent accommodations and staff. Very friendly and helpful

Great City View, 2016-08-16
Captain: , Hollywood, MD (20)

We spent two nights enjoying the inner harbor and what it has to offer. It was a nice walk to the attractions and we enjoyed cooling off and relaxing at the tiki barge. Staff was great and helpful even with a dinner recommendation, which was Little Havana.

Great service in downtown Baltimore, 2016-08-14
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (10)

Thanks for your help in researching and booking this great location. We arrived after hours, and there were lock keys waiting for us at the Rusty Scupper restaurant - plenty easy. Dinner was good too!

$3.00 a foot, 2016-07-15
Captain: , Charleston (50)

Stayed here on a Friday night. Nice place, nice staff, great location, but the price stated earlier in this listing is not correct.

Center of the action, 2016-06-01
Captain: , Honolulu (712)

Stopped in fr an overnighter, perfect location for Baltimore. Walked to an Orioles game at Camden Field. $2.50 a foot plus $18 for electric 6/1/16. Clean new secure facility.

Fuel Dock, 2015-10-14
Captain: , Strafford, NH (610)

Good price on the diesel and easy to get to the dock.

Captain: , Doylestown pa (30)

Great marina fireworks from inner harbor and west Balt harbor. Fair pricing on a busy weekend. 3 trips this year always high level of service and cleanliness .

Wifi issues may be fixed, 2014-05-28
Captain: , Toronto ON (192)

Previous reviews are accurate. We have enjoyed our stay. They have a new wifi system which seems to be very fast and a good signal, although we were close to the office. The od system is still up, but they recommend the new one.

Good Location, 2013-10-18
Captain: , Calgary (291)

Well ran marina. Spotless washrooms. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. WiFi access not that great. Easy walk to all inner harbour facilities. Great individual pump out facilities

Good Marina, 2013-10-10
Captain: , Comox, BC Canada (101)

The marina and location are great and the facilities are good. We stayed 2 nights but didn't like that the internet was grouped into a $18.00 package for power/water. All the outlet's are 50 amp so you require an adaptor to step down to 30 amp or rent one at $5.00 per day.

Great facility, perfect location, 2013-10-03
Captain: , Jersey City, NJ (190)

All new floating docks, with card-key access to the docks. The staff was competent and friendly. The Inner Harbor Marina does not have many 'resident' boats so it may be the easiest of the Baltimore marinas to get a transient reservation.Easy walk to all Inner Harbor facilities and a slightly longer walk to Little Italy and Whole Foods. Baltimore now has free shuttle buses running every ten minutes connecting all the tourist spots, so getting to places like Ft. McHenry and the B&O Museum is easy and free! Marina guests have access to the pool and fitness center at one of the Inner Harbor hotels.

Thrifty It Ain't, 2013-07-12
Captain: , Chesapeake Beach, MD 20732 (200)

Very nice floating dock marina, easy to find right off Green 3, dock hands very friendly. Heads were clean and well managed. Not close to the water taxi and nearly a two mile walk to the aquarium. I was going to take my dingy but very expensive to park closer in, $30.00. The marina has a funny way they charge, I arrived on Sunday and paid the weekend rate for both Sunday and Monday because I arrived on Sunday. Good location but must like walking.

Excellent 4th of July Accommodations, 2013-07-09
Captain: , St. Thomas, USVI (624)

We stayed for four days over the 4th of July holiday and had a wonderful time. We came a few days early and the marina was almost empty which was nice and quiet. It gradually filled for the holiday but I believe on a regular basis that it would be quiet. The facilities and staff were great and you can't beat the location right in the heart of the inner harbor. The fireworks were right in front of us. The many close-by attractions were easily accessible. Not many places where you can be in the heart of a big city yet still have private space and security. The only thing that would have been nice would be to have basic provisions on site such as gallons of water.

Great location, pleasant people, 2013-04-09
Captain: , Worton Creek, MD (290)

Have stayed a few weekends, and have always had a nice time. You can not beat the location, and the facilities are clean and modern. Two things I wish they would improve: 1) Wi-fi does not work at all well, 2) you have to go across the street to the pool, and it closes at 5, so you can't swim at night. But, all in all, it is a great place to stay.

Good downtown location, 2012-11-03
Captain: , Londontowne, MD (470)

The concrete floating docks are first-rate with several cleats along each full-length finger pier, in-slip pump-out is especially useful, very helpful staff, reasonable prices relative to location and surrounding sites/activities. On our most recent visit, the Internet capability was problematic (up and down, in and out, over the whole weekend), and the cable TV picture was often pretty fuzzy (some air stations are available as an alternative), but our stay was otherwise as comfortable as could be during a hurricane. Boats requiring twin 30-amp shorepower service will need a 50-to-twin-30-amp splitter. The on-site restaurant gets mixed reviews, but in any case wasn't open the day after Hurricane Sandy passed through (most of Baltimore was closed, too)... so we didn't test it this time.

Great Location Great Docks, 2012-11-01
Captain: , MA and Southwest FL (538)

We spent a long weekend to attend a football game. The location to downtown waterfront is fantastic. On the "quiet" side near the park, but handy enough to walk to everything. Nightlife, dining, dancing, it has it all. Easy walk to the stadium for sports fans.

Floating docks are very nice. We arrived after hours, but a welcome package was waiting for us at the restaurant reception. Everything we needed was ready to go.

Staff were helpful. I can't give it 5 stars as it is missing ammenities I'd expect at that level (pool, spa, etc) and the shower/laundry are a bit dated. Clean, but dated.

We will be back.

Central AND good value , 2012-09-21
Captain: , Hamble, UK (876)

For such a ringside seat the marina charges compare very well. Central position and with Baltimore's 5 free bus routes you can't go wrong. The marina is kept immaculate although the bathrooms are looking a little tired and the fluorescent pink in the women's is a shock to the system first thing in the am! Staff are helpful, David in particular is, as stated, charming.

Pre Season Football, 2012-09-03
Captain: , Sue Island, Maryland (131)

Great place to stay for sporting events. Concrete floating docks are solid. Pump outs at your slip are very handy. Very professional staff. They seem to have a new WiFi provider this season and it was not usable, esp with an iPad. So you must rely on your smart phone.

Convienent location, stable services, 2012-08-18
Captain: , PooleUK (973)

We spent three plesant days here, I am happy to report that there was no crime (that we noticed), the fleet of boats collecting the litter were effective and the area was quite welcoming.
I did feel that $40 a day for power was over the top, and yes you are in a city so expect noise and grime. Were there a convienence store on site or nearby I would have awarded five stars.

A great place to stay, 2012-08-14
Captain: , Amelia Island, FL (507)

This marina is conveniently located within walking distance to all the inner harbor attractions. The staff was most helpful, particularly in explaining how to get around. The only downside during our visit was the dockside pumpout was not working.

Center of all, 2012-08-07
Captain: , Annapolis MD (10)

This marina puts you in the middle of everything you want to do in Baltimore with the shuttle boat sertvice at a good price for all day trips around harbor. If you need 30 amp service youll have to rent a splitter unless you have one. I think this should be free or provide 30 amp service without having to use a splitter. Its nice knowing that your boat is safe from strangers with the gated system for entry.Dock hands are very helpful when you arrive helping to get your boat in the slip and tiied up

First Class Marina, 2012-07-27
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (231)

We spent ten days here (7/14/12 thru 7/24/12) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. David and the rest of the staff are excellent and the facility is truly one of the nicest we've seen in our cruise north from Florida. The marina has an ideal location that is within easy walking distance to all sort of restauarnts and attractions (including the National Aquarium). The city works hard to keep the harbor clean. We had a heavy rainstorm resulting in a lot of floating debris in the harbor, and the city had sweeping boats out immediatiely afterwards. Parking is probably the only negative. $13 a day wasn't bad but there are no "in-and-out" priviledges. Security at the marina is excellent, with gated card access only. There are other nice marinas nearby, but after scouting them in our tender, we think the Inner Harbor Marina Center is the best choice.

Worth the Trip, 2012-06-09
Captain: , Greenville, N.C. (40)

You can't get a much better location if you want everything within walking distance. If it's too far to walk, take the water taxi. Inner Harbor is also the home of who I consider the best dock help ever. wish I knew his name but he's ready for every situation. The only down side is that, being a big city, it has big city problems close by. That being said, I never felt unsafe.

Location!!, 2012-06-07
Captain: , North Fort Myers, FL. (268)

WOW, what a view. The lights at night are amazing, both city skyline and passing tour boats with their changing color lights. Baseball, football, and great seafood restaurants all in walking distance, what more can you ask for. This marina is a must visit.

New floating concrete docks, right in the midst of the Inner Harbor, 2012-05-20
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (1521)

Very nice marina, new floating concrete docks. Power pedestals only have 50 amp, we have our own splitter but my understanding is that they have splitters to borrow. Very helpful and friendly staff. At the time we were here they had the best price on diesel in the area. If staying, you get a discount on the diesel and there's free slipside pumpout. Couldn't ask for a better location to be a tourist in downtown Baltimore. We biked from the marina out to Fort McHenry then back around to Fells Point and back. So much to see!

Great Marina, 2012-05-02
Captain: , Southport NC (50)

Great location right in the Inner Harbor. Very helpful staff - we came in after closing and the took care of us. You will not find a better place. very safe - a police substaton at the top of the very secure dock - convienent dock side pump out. only 50 amp but they have adapters. The choice of restaurants within walking distance is with out equal.

Super Location, 2012-02-06
Captain: , Annapolis (795)

Spent the better part of a week here during the summer of 2006. The place is secure, well run, and located at close to the inner harbor as you could hope to be. The had a deal with a local hotel for pool access, so you have to hike a couple of blocks, but the pool was very nice. Most of the city attractions are on the other side of the inner harbor, so it is not a perfect location, but it is as good as it gets in Baltimore.

Clean, Safe and Secure, 2011-09-19
Captain: , Deale, MD (347)

Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality floating dock with convenient hook-ups. Access to docks controlled by electronic key. Bath house clean and in good service. Easy walking distance to Inner Harbor and City attractions.

Fantastic fireworks on Fourth of July, 2011-07-06
Captain: , Salt Spring Island, BC (50)

Great location on harbour. Water Taxi excellent for zipping around harbour. Docks lovely but very pricey for holiday weekend. Included power but had to pay for wifi which is a nuisance add-on. When will marinas realize that wifi should be a given. Hotel pool very nice as is Federal Hill neighbourhood adjacent to marina. Aquarium outstanding.

Great location, 2011-07-03
Captain: , Beach haven NJ (510)

Location is perfect. You can walk along inner harbor from this location. Facilities are great. Overall a good place to dock your boat.

Great New Docks and a Wonderful Staff, 2011-06-09
Captain: , Kings Point, New York (80)

We spent 2 nights in late May, 2011. The view from our slip was fantastic and the Inner Harbor is buzzing with marine activity. The location affords just enough isolation from the crowds but it is still walking distance to many attractions. Marina guests can use the gym and pool at the nearby Intercontinental Hotel. The dockmaster was helpul and professional. The only annoyance was the lack of free parking for our rental car. The parking lot cost us a fortune. The free in-slip pump out services made up for it though. Very strong recommendation.

Great Stopover, 2011-06-01
Captain: , Vienna, VA (320)

We spent a very cold night here in April 2011. But the marina couldn't have been more accomodating. Gave us passes to swim at the local hotel indoor swimming pool. the grandkids loved that. Then walked up to an Orioles game. The location is perfect for seeing the Baltimore waterfront.

Winter dockage, 2011-02-16
Captain: , baltimore, md (106)

From November - April discount rate was for 44 yacht $1,200 with metered electric and water available
Wi-go and cable included

Top drawer place

Perfect setting, 2010-11-26
Captain: , Essex, CT (1675)

Well worth the price. Nestle yourself right in Inner Harbor and walk to any of the dozens of terrific restaurants aound the Inner Harbor. This is a wonderful spot. Even the trip in by way of Fort McHenry was delightful.

Baltimore's Best, 2010-07-22
Captain: , Skipjack Cove Resort Marina (62)

We have stayed at this marina twice and just love it. The floating docks are wonderful and it right in the Inner Harbor. Short walk to many of the wonderful things to do here. The staff is very helpful and friendly and fuel prices were lower than I would have expected.
Worth a stay.

Nice Docks, Nice People, Nice View, 2010-07-21
Captain: , Stuart, FL (426)

A little far to walk to the shops which are all on the other side of the harbor. There were 4 of us so the water taxis were $10/day per person or $40 per day. Docks have no protective rubber at all so be careful. Nice new facilities but kind of pricey. After 10:00 p.m. lots of people sleeping on park benches next to marina in summer. Rusty Scupper is good but expensive. $37.50 per person for Saturday brunch (plus tax/tip)! BEST restaurant is in Fells Point, Berthas Mussels. Unbelievably good mussels in white wine and garlic sauce, $13.50 for a pile that filled two of us up. Very pet friendly.

Fabulious location, 2010-07-04
Captain: , Buffalo (1154)

Great Marina with new floating docks. Pumpout at every slip, but $18 a day for "utilities". Power pedistals have only 50 amp recepticals, but the marina will rent you an adaptor if you need one.

Inner Harbor's Finest, 2010-02-28
Captain: , Waretown, NJ (58)

Stayed last summer for 2 days while visiting family in Baltimore. Clean, spacious concrete docks were a treat. We took folding bikes for rides around marina, the Mall and within the Harbor. The inner Harbor has plenty to offer; restaurants, aquarium, shops and entertainment. But the view of the harbor lights at night was stunning!
Rusty Scupper right onsite, marina staff very helpful. Late one nite we were settled in but still 'restless'. I walked into the Rusty Scupper, and they were about to close. They opened up just to get us two pieces of cheesecake for a late-nite dessert. Now that's cruising at its finest!!

Top Class, 2009-06-05
Captain: , Collierville TN (977)

Good facilites, great restaurant, and located right in Baltimore's inner harbor. You can walk to the world. Modern floating docks, wide fairways.

Memorial Day 2009, 2009-06-03
Captain: , Marlton, NJ (171)

New Concrete floating docks, water, cable. Only 50amp outlets. Not bad but difficult to dock single screw boats with share (double-wide slips). Current and wind will impact backing with limited room to maneuver. Rusty Scupper restaurant has great food but has become somewhat pricey. Water taxi stand right at marina. Harbor water extremely dirty and leaves stains on hull. Pump out right at your slip for $5. If you arrive late (after 5pm) they will leave your key card at the Rusty Scupper. If you need 30 amp service let them know ahead of time and they will rent you a splitter from 50 to 30 amp for $15.

Great Family Destination, 2008-04-11
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (66)

Newly renovated with secure floating piers and individual pump out at the slips, the marina is in the midst of the action of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Walking distance to a myriad of restaurants and family attractions (Maryland Science Center, National Aquarium, Orioles and Ravens Stadiums all within a few blocks). There's even a 1912 two-row Herschell-Spillman carousel in the park next door. After the kids are asleep, enjoy the evening view from your cockpit iof a stunning panorama of the city skyline.

Redone Marina, 2007-07-05
Captain: , Isle of Palms, SC (311)

Most beautiful floating docks we've seen. While fuel isn't at each slip, pump outs are. Right across the small inner harbor from the multiple attractions in downtown Baltimore. Water taxi every 15-18 min to anywhere in entire extended harbor [$8 for all day].
