Reviews for Baltic Wharf Marina
Baltic Wharf, 2014-02-15
Captain: , Torquay (220)

Very attractive town
Very helpful boatyard
Not a marina as such though!
Baltic Wharf have a long pontoon that you can stay on and well worth a visit especially for bilge keel yachts.
Hardly anyone cruises there which is a shame
Dartmouth often packed
Showers etc and only a short walk into town
Totnes is a beautiful little town way up the river Dart. It is far up the river that you can take a boat and is fine for sailing yachts with masts as Totnes Bridge is the first bridge that you come to.
The Totnes Quay is very pleasant but under developed and I feel that the harbour authority does not encourage visitors to Totnes by boat. Shame as I thought that Devon County Council wanted less cars on the road! Perhaps that think that we will all parachute there to spend our money?
Baltic Wharf has NOT been developed into flats. However, the boatyard is being re-modelled and apartments will be built but the square footage of boat space will remain the same.

I love Totnes but Devon County Council don't appear to encourage tourism.
