Reviews for B and B Marina
Poor condition of docks, 2012-09-15
Captain: , Pensacola, Florida (132)

After telling all the staff several times that we need 5' of water, we were put into a slip that had a support angled to 4' beneath the water without telling us. When leaving, we hit it hard and are still determining whether there is any damage. The marina tells us they didn't know about the obstruction, but they should. Although the staff was friendly, the marina was quiet and almost deserted during the week. We are told the restaurant is a local hang out on weekends, mostly non boaters.

Docks need repair, 2011-11-05
Captain: , Dunedin, FL (6484)

Limited transient docking and what is available in poor condition. Port-a-Potty for restrooms except at the restaurant wiich is on site. Scenic crujise up the Hiawase.

Sorry you feel that way Ron, 2011-11-05
Captain: , B and B Marina Charleston TN (32)

Remember, the economy is bad, Mr. Pederson (whom I know personally) is doing everything he can however it's tough when he has to do it pretty much by himself with limited money. Had you come prior to the end of season, they have excellent entertainment and exceptional food in the restaurant for the value. The Dolphin

Beautiful Surroundings, 2011-10-02

Very scenic area with lots of wildlife. Small marina with a narrow entrance. Excellent lunch with a very friendly staff.

B&B Marina October 2009, 2010-03-16
Captain: , Wallhamn, Sweden (88)

This is a good place to stay over after a leisurely trip up the Hiawassee River (mm 12.9) as there aren't many options in the area. The entrance is easy to find. Entrance is narrow but easily navigated. Pull up to the fuel dock and go to the store for slip assignment. It's well sheltered, but the docks are in rough shape, plenty of splinters and in need of some upgrades. We stayed one night, it was quiet and uneventful. There is some open space and local roads for an exercise walk, with plenty of seemingly friendly dogs hanging about. The restaurant was open and was fine for dinner. The pump out equipment is not in good condition and had poor suction which caused us some problems (spillage). Overall a fine place to stop but its in need of some maintenance.

Easy In and Out, 2007-09-23
Captain: , North GA Mountains (649)

Used them a couple times for day trips on the TN and Hiawassee River. Easy in and out. Friendly and Helpful. Nice Gas dock.
