Reviews for BIP Fuel Docks
Easy to access, protected lagoon inside the reef, 2015-12-23
Captain: , Fort Myers, FL (1039)

Open to the wind but protected from waves and current. They carry gas and deisel in dockside hoses, also have oil, coolants, ice, sodas, snacks, and bulk water. The staff were helpfula nd friendly, even appologetic that they were away from the dick when we came in and so were unable to help us tie up, and they came at a run when they realized we were pulling in. There is a BIP gas station on the main road up the hill, which also has a shopette, a car service shop, and a marine store. The marine store mostly caters to the working ships that populate the harbor so they ahve heavy tools, big fasteners etc. not West-Marine-like stuff, but very serviceable gear and good quality.

Access to high quality fuel, 2013-01-09
Captain: , Lewes, DE (612)

It appears the fuel for this dock is pumped down from the holding tanks of the BIP station a couple 100 yards away up on the road. On our visit we had to squeeze around a large shrimp boat that partially blocked access. If you want to pay with a credit card you have to walk out to the station building, but can pay cash at the fuel dock.
