Floating docks. Good food. Local charm.

Good food, awesome setting, authentic Florida, 2012-02-04

We ran across Aunt Kate's while driving down the A1A and in need of a break. Waterfront location on the ICW can't be beat for a sundown happy hour stop. Visitor dock for customers, with ice, bait, no fule that I saw. Food was good but not exceptional, crab salad sandwich was fresh and cool, conch fitters were hot and not fishy or too bready. Full bar. Staff reported 18' of water at their docks which look to be long enough to accomodate ~30' boats plus over hang or longer vessels for short stops across both docks.
