Reviews for Atlantique
Very nice marina and location, 2015-08-30
Captain: , Lindenhurst, NY (316)

In typical Fire Island style, this marina is nice but basic. If you want a restaurant, bar, or shopping, you'll want to go to a nearby village like Ocean Beach. If you want easy boat access to a really nice beach on the ocean, this is it.

Somewhat expensive for a person who is not a resident of the Town of Islip. In 2015 non residents are not allowed from Friday to Sunday in season.

Not very sheltered, so you get a fair amount of rocking and rolling at your slip as boats go by, incliuding frequent water taxis and ferries.

Atlantique, great in the early spring and fall, 2014-04-25
Captain: , Wantagh NY (581)

As others have stated, this is resident only factility, but after Labor Day its open to all. We have club members who go in August during the week, non-residents, but every year they complain about all the loose dogs and partying, so its all realitive in what you like.

Gets very crowded, 2013-03-31
Captain: , Great River NY (250)

Sometimes large groups come in and take half of the marina. That would be great if you are with the group but if you are stuck in the middle forget it. Some people are CRAZY !!!!!!

atlantique basin in/out, 2011-05-17
Captain: , Bayshore (173)

town of islip resident in the basin fills up fast for weekends and priority is given to town of islip residents. close walk to ocean beach
Note on the east/west of basin ancorage is available to all
Watch low tide water

good family place, 2011-04-16
Captain: , Bay Shore, NY (490)

Atlantique has long been a haven for families; lots of kids, dogs, and people having a good time. If you prefer quiet; dock on tne north wall. Non Town of Islip boaters pay higher rate. Residents need Town sticker. So so snack bar; no other amenities.

marina review, 2011-04-01
Captain: , W. Islip (1025)

Nice large marina, northeast basin has better protection and less swells from boat traffic. Very noisy at night much like Davis Park, not a place to have peace and quiet. The walk to Ocean Beach is not short and on a sandy path.
