Reviews for Arabella's Landing
Great Marina, 2017-06-11
Captain: , La Crosse, WI (941)

They squeezed us in on Gig Fest. Clean facility, friendly staff. Wifi was marginal at best. Busy weekend with lots of activities. We returned the following weekend and it was much quieter. Beautiful harbor, well protected. Great stop for a day or two.

Top Notch in all regards, 2016-09-15
Captain: , Summerlin, NV (350)

Beautiful grounds, clean stable docks, small but very clean and safe restrooms w/free showers, great wifi with strong usable signal (we were out towards the end of the long guest dock), wonderful town access to a fun little town. We loved our stay here and look forward to doing so again.

Expensive, amenities lacking for the price. Safe and clean. Nice slips., 2015-09-06
Captain: , Bremerton (10)

Lovely setting, great Ship to Shore marine store right there, has almost everything! Trolley bus to store, runs on half hour, be early for the stop, the schedule isn't exact.exact. Local restaurants.
For 1.50 a foot, the wifi should work and there should be better bathing facilities. Poor design and planning in that department. No sink or mirror in showers. Head sink is push every 2 seconds for cold water, forget shaving. Ladies have to fight over one similar sink. Some paper towels or a modern hand dryer would be nice for such expense.
One shower, one head per sex. Be prepared to wait a while for your turn.
No one from staff is going to come grab a line, wind can be an issue, neighboring boaters are best bet if you need a hand. It would be 4 stars with the shortcomings if it weren't for the price.

Extended Stay, 2014-10-04
Captain: , Liberty Bay, WA (430)

Our plan was to stay here overnight then continue our southern cruise. Got the flu and ended up staying 5 nights. Very accomidating folks here. Helped with tying up when we came in and again to relocate for another boat and even mailed some packages for the wife. Very clean marina and they even work at keeping the growth off of the pilings. Only downside for the marina was no laundry as they were replacing the washers and dryers and cleaning up the room.

As for the the town, of course it has a lot of shops and good eating places. Downside of town is that to closest grocery store is 3/4 miles away and no drug store close by. I guess there used to be a trolly that went around town but no longer.

Two good visits, 2014-09-20
Captain: , Portland, OR (279)

We made two stops here in September 2014. Staff is courteous and efficient. Docks are well maintained. Restrooms and showers are clean, but it is a long walk. (Men%u2019s shower under renovation at time of our visit) A number of restaurants are in walking distance, including the deservedly well-known Tides. Water and power are easily available. Pump-out station is not very conveniently located.

A marina destination, 2014-08-06

A very clean, nice marina. Marina personnel very helpful. Short walk from nearby stores and restaurants.

Great Cozy Place, 2013-11-12
Captain: , Richland WA (50)

We have stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. Very close in to downtown Gig Harbor. Locked gate at night, nice clubhouse with indoor and outdoor seating - good coffee! Hard to get in to during peak season.

Great secure marina in a great location, 2013-09-16
Captain: , Kirkland, WA (148)

Arabella's Landing is a fantastic location for a getaway. Gig Harbor is a cozy hideaway with calm waters and a ton of amenities: dining, drinking, shopping, and events. Arabella's has a great, attentive staff that is ready to assign you to your spot, and give you a hand with your lines if you need it. They have a lovely clubhouse with both indoor and outdoor seating, a secure gate that is locked at night, clean showers with plenty of room, and a clean head. Would have been five stars with more showers, a cleaner laundry facility, and better access to groceries / supplies.

Hmmm, it's ok, 2013-05-08
Captain: , SV Kairos, Eagle Harbor, Bainbridge Is. WA (233)

We have tried to get in there a couple of times and it is always booked. So we anchored out again during opening day boating season. But we thought we would dinghy over to Arabella's to check it out. My wife and I were greeted by one nasty b&*%h. She came right up to our dinghy and said "there is a dockage fee for dinghy's btw" wft. We told her we just wanted to check the marina out, she lightened up a bit but wow! She was not helpful and we had too grind information out about the marina and sights in town. Maybe she was having a bad day, not sure, but she needs to shoften up a bit. After looking around a bit, we really weren't impressed. Maybe her attitude set our attitude. No thanks, not going there ever! She was plain rude.

A marina right downtown, 2013-04-11

Great offseason marina, 2012-09-19
Captain: , Tacoma, Washington (95)

We will go over the 7 miles from our marina in fall and winter as a great place to get away for the weekend. Good restaurants nearby and a family atmosphere on the docks

Captain: , Swantown Marina, Olympia, Wa (180)

If anchoring out in Gig Harbor Bay is not for you, then this marina is the one to stay at while in Gig Harbor. Security coded gates into marina. Restrooms for guests with code. Grocery store is a bus ride away. The economy closed the grocery store that used to be a walk away.
Restaurants and nite life is a close walk away.

great place to overnight; friendly staff, 2012-08-19
Captain: , North Lake Marina, Lake Washington (260)

I reasearched before we showed up and knew we wanted to stay overnight at Arabella's, but it was still confusing what to do when we arrived. The booth out along the channel had friendly staff who quickly set us in the correct direction and met us at the dock to help with lines. Great place to stay. My only thought is to stay farther away from the ramp up to shore as many people seem to walk loudly on that (and i'd hate to be awaken by that).

Great Staff, 2012-03-23

This is my marina of choice when heading to Gig Harbor

Clean and comfortable, 2009-07-28
Captain: , Cowiche, WA (350)

We stayed here in April 09 and found the place mostly to be empty and all to ourslves. Clean facilities, and helpful staff. Close to everything you need and quiet.

Fine facility , 2009-07-26
Captain: , Seattle (250)

Pretty much right in the middle of the harbor, Arabella's Landing is an outstanding spot for transient boaters, and it appears to be a great spot for permanents, as well.

Solid docks, convenient and clean facilities, two great decks and two lounges overlooking the harbor, nice landscaping, and friendly, trained dock staff. Cool little dock office at the end of one of their piers allows you to just pull up and get info/instructions.

Easy walk to galleries, shops, supplies, and great food. Kudos to El Pueblito and Brix 25.

Power, water, included in reasonable rate.
