Reviews for Annapolis Yacht Club

Best of liuck in rebuilding after the recent fire. AYC is an intergral part of the Annapolis sailing community and your presence is essential. Good luck Commodore Rod Jabin (of Jabin's Yacht Yard on Back Creek)

Very hospitable club, 2014-09-24
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (1134)

Can't say enough good things about Dockmaster Andy. He went out of his way to maintain contact while working to find space for two nights. The rest of his staff were friendly, compatent and helpful. Very few clubs have staff that work this hard to make visiting yachts feel like welcome guests!

Annapolis Yacht Club was very pleasant. Great club and very, very good restraurant. A very pleasant stay for two nights.

Top notch club, 2013-11-20

April 2013 - we stayed here for three nights after a 45 mile sail from Havre de grace. Great location, beautiful facilities and gracious staff. We really enjoyed the club and all the Annapolis attractions.

Great place to stay in Annapolis, 2011-09-09
Captain: , Gulf Shores Alabama (748)

The AYC does accept reciprocity with most other yacht clubs for dockage, but they have their own list for the clubhouse which is different from the American Yacht Club Member List. They said they recently sent out letters to yc's with "similar" aminities as theirs and the list is made of those only. The dockmaster was great to work with and the facilities were excellent. Rates were better than the Annapolis Basin. We were on the "long dock" next to the bridge and there was nothing wrong with that slip. They use it for transients, and I must say that the view was excellent.
Would certainly stay there again. Convient to town, shops, restaurants, etc.

Nice club and great location, 2011-07-04

One of the best yacht clubs you will find anywhere. The location is fantastic. You can walk to all the best restaurants and most poplular bars in Annapolis.

Top Knotch, 2010-11-08
Captain: , Wilson, NY (432)

Staff friendly and helpful. Gave us guest card even though our club not on list. Docks, power, water, restrooms, showers, laundry all excellent. Difficult to get our sailboat past the drawbridge and then directly into slip. (They are used to this.)

Convenient Location, 2010-06-05
Captain: , Wicomico Creek, MD (494)

AYC put us across the bridge on their floating docks. Within walking distance of downtown. Asked about eating in their clubhouse and was told they only honor reciprocity with a letter from your yacht club. They don't recognize the yacht club register book of reciprocity clubs anymore.

Great marina, great location, reasonably priced with yacht club reciprocity. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice bathhouses. Very close to town. We stayed at their new floating docks on the other side of spa creek bridge.

This is one of the nicest clubs I've ever visited. The bar is beautiful as are the various dining areas and they have an incredible kitchen.
