Reviews for Anclote Harbors Marina
Nice Marina, friendly staff, 2017-06-23
Captain: , Ocean Springs, MS (132)

We left our 34' sailboat at Anclote Harbors while waiting on a good weather window for a crossing. Wound up keeping the boat here over three weeks and they graciously gave us the monthly rate for our stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and helped with docking when we came in. Nice showers and restrooms with laundry and a good restaurant right next door. There are a few grandfathered liveaboards here, everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the conversations. The current does run strong here and the staff advised us not to try and leave the slip when the tides are moving.

great marina, 2015-05-03
Captain: , Paris Landing TN (636)

friendly and helpful staff. nice facilities and showers. nice pavilion with a grill. ice at the docks. easy in and out. busy on the weekends but quiet in the evenings. we only moved to turtle cove for a better rate of stay 5 nights get 2 nights free. waiting on a weather window to cross the gulf and we might be here awhile.

Great Stopover, 2014-01-08

Stayed here a few days. Only a couple of transient slips, so call ahead. Very nice clean showers and facility. Reasonable price, and friendly staff. Strong current and big tides to consider when entering and leaving.

Quiet, and reasonable rates near boat yard, 2013-04-10
Captain: , houston, tx (403)

This is a quiet marina with satisfactory fixed docks. Restrooms OK, not fancy but clean. The office staff is very friendly. There is a service yard next door with a good canvas shop. I had a small abrasion patched on the bimini, same day service, for 30 bucks, very reasonable.
The dry stack portion of the facility added a bit of noise as the fishermen headed out early, but not an issue.
Watch depths on the shoreward slips as they shoal up. I draw 5.5 feet and sat in the mud every day at low tide.
Not within walking distance of anything.

Sailboats should avoid, 2013-01-27
Captain: , TEXAS (20)

Very unfreindly management, expecially to sailboats - serv dept is good and open 7 days/wk

The Genral Manager the place an unfriendly place. Although the GM says they don't allow liveaboard, the liveaboards there are a good mix of people The best boat supply shop (Sigma Marine Supplies) is 1 mi down the raod - across from Capt Jacks. Sigma has better than most pricing and get stuff they dont have in stock next day from suppliers.

Anclote Harbors Marina, 2011-08-21
Captain: , Pensacola (460)

This marina was our home port for 2 yrs (before we moved aboard and began cruising full time) and we were very happy with both the marina and staff. Transients are welcome but slips are limited. There are nice restrooms/showers (separate for men/women) with a washer/dryer in each. There is a good service dept open 7 days a week. The marina is not very convenient to restaurants and provisioning though. It is not so much the distance but the road is not pedestrian/bike friendly.

We will come back again, 2011-01-23
Captain: , Mobile Al (140)

We came in with engine problems and the staff bent over backwards to help in any way they could. Very friendly and we will be back again

Strong tides time your entry and departures, 2010-12-25
Captain: , Foley, AL (985)

A good walk into town, about a 7$ taxi ride. Renovating the ladies restroom when we there.

Not Impressed, 2009-06-12
Captain: , Missippi (10)

Marina's website states that "every slip has cable tv"..wrong. They have a point yes & barely works. Their website also states that "every slip is @ least 5.5 feet deep"..wrong. We were in a slip that @ high tide was usually only 4.5 feet. Thank God for mud!!! Better times are ahead, just not here ever again!!!

OK but watch the Tidal Flow, 2007-10-28
Captain: , Florida (2)

Marine is situated parrellel to the tidal flow which can be quite strong; especially on an ebb tide because it is near the mouth of the river. Be cautious when approaching slips.
