Reviews for Anchor Marina
Anchor Marina , 2007-12-18
Captain: , North East, MD (1)

Anchor is a power boat high-n-dry marina.
PROS
Lift driver is very good/fast at getting boats in/out of the water if you're a member.
Well protected from weather at head of the Northeast River.
Water depth is pretty good at 4-5' mean-low.
Lots of unassigned floating dock space but transients get hit up for $25 if stopping at the Naughty Goose restaurant next door.
Convenient road access from US 40. Close to shops and restaurants.

CONS
Not all that clean a place to be. Water is densely polluted here due to being near head of river.
Noisy as hell. Many go-fast boats come here.
4-5pm rush hour on weekends is nerve-wracking due to many boats coming in close quarters in the cove and it's not much different than most busy road intersections except that cars have brakes.
