We are locals ,we know the rules the rules, we got to pumpout 15 minutes before closing... one transient boat docked at pumpout other space filled with pumpout customer... we sat and practiced keeping boat in one easilly noticed position... customer started to wash his boat..pumpout crew left.... we made call, yelled to customer, docked, called m,arina dockhand came back said they were closed had to clean up at 3 to be out by 4we left never to return again

To update the last review electricity was added to A Dock which is usually occupied by seasonal tenants. There is a pump out dock with a $5.00 fee for non tenants. Transients might be able to get an empty slip or there are a few guest moorings. Shopping is a few miles away and a vehicle would be necessary or bikes.

Nothing here but calm water, 2010-08-13
Captain: , Apponaug, Rhode Island (572)

This marina is the former Navy officers dock. Since it sits within the Davisville Navy facility it's a long way to any ameneties, stores, restaurants or anything else. Very bare bones but priced accordingly. It's now a municiple marina with special rates for residents.
It has a park like atmosphere with plenty of space to picknick. There is no electricity at the docks, water only. One small store carries a limited variety of soda and snacks. Ice is available.
The one outstanding item to note is the calm water. Glassy on most any day or time. Good place to kayak or get in out of a storm.
Nice place, just nothing here or even close. I'd rate it higher if they even had electricity.
