Reviews for Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina
A Bit Pricey, 2016-10-12
Captain: , Cape Coral (120)

Stayed here late February to get out of the N-NW wind. Older place that once was swank joint. Pricey unless you are Royal Marsh Harbour member. Diesel fuel was $5.68/gal.

Great marina, beach, facilities!, 2016-06-10
Captain: , Midway, UT (110)

Can't give it 5 stars since they just won't negotiate price. The place is 20% full while others in Marsh are full, but they won't budge oin their pricing which is 2-3x what you can pay in Marsh. Now to the good... We came here because of a big blow and all others were full. It was PERFECT for what we want. Slip 101 and we are a 20 second walk from the beautiful beach and large grassy area for our dog. Very dog friendly here with poop bag stands throughout. Clean and nice marina. Very sport-fish oriented and not so 'cruiser' oriented (we have a sailing cat). Friendly staff, free SUP's and kayaks. nice bar and restaurant with a small 'local restaurant' across the road form the resort. Excellent for dog owners as a great "walk" free of traffic can be done arou d the marina to the breakwater and back (1.2 miles from our slip). We definitely prefer anchorages, and would love to pay less, but this place is really the nicest we have seen of all the Marsh marinas for several reasons important to us.

If you are looking for a Winter hang consider this facility. The Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club makes this their home port and as a result they have many activities and special functions.
Anglers Restaurant puts out a great meal, and fuel is generally more competitively priced here.

Expensive stay, 2015-05-30
Captain: , Madison, Ohio (400)

Took a dock for one night on a 31ft Sailboat, dock were in good shape, bar and grounds were very nice, the restrooms and showers were a little worn and in need of a update. The dockage rate at this time of year is $3.25 a ft not including electric at $.75 KW and water charges. On top of that they ran an authorization on my credit card for $1000.00 !!!

First Rate, 2014-06-16
Captain: , San Diego (300)

I didnt actually stay there but I was so impressed with the marina I thought id give my opinion anyway. If your into sport fishing looks like this is where the big boys, with their big toys, go! The resort around the marina also looks to be first rate.
Close to town but far enough removed to be pretty private with a manned security gate.

Convenient, 2014-03-30
Captain: , St. Louis, MO (970)

OK place to tie up, get fuel, and load or off load boat guests.

The staff are helpful and friendly, but the resort facilities have seen better days.

nice faclity, 2014-01-27

Good facilties, excellent staff, and an awesome restaurant, 2014-01-06
Captain: , Block Island, RI (954)

Everyone there took great care of us, especially Israel who helped us at the fuel dock and then ran around to help us dock. Anglers is probably the best restaurant in Marsh Harbour...everything was outstanding. There were few sailboats when we were there and a bunch of sportfishing yahoos and cheezy mini-mega yachts, but sometimes you need a little neon light in the water.

They took my money and ran, 2013-05-08
Captain: , North Myrtle Beach, SC (3210)

I made a reservation for a 3 month stay 6 months in advance and paid a deposit of one month, that was refundable if I canceled early enough. Two months before we were to arrive, we canceled due to family issues at home. I wrothe them emails and called along with telling the MArsh Harbor Yacht Club. On the phone I was told that they would get back to me. I never got my refund and they never returned my calls other than when I called them. The Marsh Harbor Ycht Club told me there was nothg they could do.

Nice Marina, 2012-07-23
Captain: , Sarasota, FL (130)

Stayed 5 nights over the 4th of July. Everything was very enjoyable. Marina rates aren't competitive with other marinas, but we were with a group so the rates were discounted. Marina was mostly empty even though it was a holiday. Most likely due to their uncompetitive rates.

Nice Resort/Great Service, 2012-06-13
Captain: , Sarasota, FL (121)

Stayed three nights. Kept the boat in the marina and took two rooms in the hotel. Beach was great, pools were nice and place is nicely kept. Marina is great (for fixed docks) and restaurant had great food. Harbor Master was very helpful in helping secure lines, get us settled and arranging for wash down/clean-up. Resort staff could not do enough to help, including driving us in their private car to find a clinic to deal with an allergic reaction to "no-seeum" bites. Only disappointment was reluctance to %u201Cdeal%u201D on slip rates for a month. We were leaving the boat for the month, and with the marina only 1/3 full, still wanted $2.25/ft. when other options were running only $1.00/ft. (or less).

Boat Harbour, 2012-06-02
Captain: , Austin Texas (120)

We were here for the last 2 weeks and lost power 5 times, mostly in the middle of the night. The restaurant, pool and other services were fine. Access to stores and rental cars are great. Wished there was a floating dock here in Abaco.

Great place to spend the winter, 2011-05-29
Captain: , Orlando (60)

We spent 3 Monthes at Boat Harbour this winter and loved it so much we made reservation for next year. The staff is friendly and the marina is within walking distance to everything we need

This is one of the premier marinas in the Abacos and the number of large yachts shows it. The onshore facilities are top notch including the private beach, large pool, volley ball pit, restaurant and manicured grounds. If looking for a resort atmosphere to stay in with all the amenities and proximity to shopping and dining, you couldn't top this one.

Good facilities and great people , 2009-01-05
